The flag is recessed and filled with red, white and navy soft enamel between raised gold lines, with the cross standing over it in relief.
Sculpted Church
The church, the steeple and cross, the trees and the clouds are all struck in 3-D relief, with the antique finish settling dark into every recess.
Saluting Figures
The five service members are sculpted in 3-D relief, standing in antique gold against the navy enamel field.
Navy Enamel Ring
The lettering ring is recessed and filled with navy soft enamel, so Bethel Lutheran Church, Bryan, Texas and the four stars stand raised in gold.
Raised Lettering
With Gratitude For Your Service, the laurels and the verse from John 15:13 are raised gold on the navy enamel, with a fine gold rule between them.
Antique Gold
The whole coin is plated antique gold, polished on the high points and darkened in the low ones, so the relief reads at arm’s length.
